Bullet Proof Vest Reimbursement
1. WTA will reimburse members up to $100.00 for front plates and/or an upgrade of Police Body Armor (based upon the state purchase vest). Eligibility – once every four years.
2. Member must submit a receipt or photocopy of purchase price to the coordinator for the reimbursement.
3. Executive Director will mail a check to the member upon receiving a request and a receipt.
4. Executive Director will keep records of reimbursements.
The corporation is organized and shall be operated exclusively for improvement of the conditions of those employed as Wisconsin Troopers, Inspectors and Police Communication Operators, including supervisors (first line supervisors through superintendent) and retirees, the development of a higher degree of efficiency in such occupation and foster activities which promote law enforcement and public safety and the good of the community.
