Special Olympics
The 2010 Wisconsin Special Olympics opening ceremonies are right around the corner. As always, the Law Enforcement Torch Run will carry the torch from Madison to Stevens Point on the final leg on Thursday, June 10, 2010. Our agency coordinator and WTA program director is Trooper Kim Hurley. Thank you for supporting the Special Olympics. The corporation is organized and shall be operated exclusively for improvement of the conditions of those employed as Wisconsin Troopers, Inspectors and Police Communication Operators, including supervisors (first line supervisors through superintendent) and retirees, the development of a higher degree of efficiency in such occupation and foster activities which promote law enforcement and public safety and the good of the community.
